About Your Hosts

Our love affair with Siesta Key and the community started independently. Maria grew up on Siesta Key in the 70's and returned to Sarasota after attending college and Ed vacationed on Siesta Key in the 80's before moving to Sarasota permanently in 1989. It has been a dream to own on Siesta Key for several years, having been in the hotel and hospitality business for the last 15 years. The completion of this renovation to our Siesta Sand Dollar is a dream come true and we wish to share it with those who appreciate being a part of Siesta Key island living.

Why this property? Newly renovated and well stocked with everything you could possibly think of to make your vacation stay one of the best you have ever experienced. Although it is not Gulf front, you still have the serenity of island living since the Siesta Harbor yacht basin is just outside the lanai with water views everywhere. But most importantly, we are local owners and tend to this property regularly, using it for our ourselves as often as we can.
